Bigger & Better This Year!

• 3:30–5:30 pm Learn about all the wonderful resources available from local organizations that can enhance your math and science programs.
• 4–7 pm Participate in teacher workshops that will help you understand and implement the National Core Curriculum and “Next Generation Science Standards” presented by the Contra Costa County Office of Education
• Become eligible to win great PRIZES
(including a free Lindsay Wildlife Museum school assembly program
for the school with the best attendance to this event!)
• Refreshments will be served.

This resource fair and workshops are FREE and open to all educators (formal and informal)
Pre-registration is not required for the resource fair, but would be appreciated for the workshops.

Educators! 

Here is your chance to connect with local resource providers, get new ideas for your math and science programs and enrich your curriculum on a limited budget. Join us at this FREE event and learn more about local field trip opportunities, as well as in-class presentations, assemblies and additional curriculum information. No registration necessary.

All educators, Teachers, Room parents, PTA representatives and Homeschool parents are welcome to attend. This is a great chance to plan your school year with new and interesting educational opportunities.

The Educator’s Resource Fair is presented by the Lindsay Wildlife Museum, in partnership with C3ASME (Contra Costa County Association of Science and Math Educators) and the Dean and Margaret Lesher.

Melvin Freitas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our treasurer and friend, Mel Freitas. He was a dedicated teacher who enriched the lives of many students and brought a wealth of knowledge to his coworkers. He will be missed.
